An online course to reimagine and connect with the Major Arcana for collective liberation

This is not a traditional tarot course. We break down outdated, hierarchical, racist, ableist, and heteronormative interpretations of the Major Arcana—and reimagine them to speak to our lived experiences as queer, trans, non-binary, and radical folks.

we will engage with tarot Critically and creatively to:

  • Become aware of the oppressive history of tarot and acknowledge it in our readings.

  • Learn the traditional archetypes and what they tell us about oppressive systems and how to fight them.

  • Reimagine tarot archetypes and create an archive of more radical, diverse and queer-centred meanings.

  • Practice and get more confindent with intuitive tarot reading —for yourself and the collective.

    CHOOSE WITCHY BABES MEMBERSHIP TO ACCESS:

    1 monthly tarot class to deep dive into two Major Arcanas, reimagining their meaning, breaking them apart, and rebuilding them through a queer lens.

    During a tarot class, you get more in-depth information from me about tarot and intuitive practices. In this course in particular, you will get in-depth information on the 22 Major Arcana cards, how they relate to each other, tarot history, how to read cards together, and more.

  • MONTHLY PRACTICE

    CHOOSE CHATTY BABES MEMBERSHIP TO ACCESS:

    1 monthly tarot meetup to practice and integrate your learnings from the classes.

    In this practice-based session, we explore reading intuitively and inclusively while working with a specific card’s energy. You can choose to only join this session if you prefer. Even though I don’t teach about each card, you still get to connect with the Major Arcana at a lower cost.

 FAQs

  • All the tarot classes will be recorded so you can go back to them whenever you like 😊

    The rituals and integration sessions are not recorded to allow for a cosy and more intimate space to share with each other. If you can't make it to these sessions I'll send guidance to try the activities in your own time.

  • The course will be open to up to 15 participants, with opportunities to speak in pairs and small groups.

  • YES! Whether you just found out about the course, or you can only join later you are welcome aboard!

    You will still get access to the previous recordings of the tarot classes, so you can catch-up on the Major Arcana’s cards that were already covered.

    We will also not be going through the Fool’s journey linearly, meaning you don’t need to do any catching up before joining your first tarot class.

  • As the person creating and facilitating this programme, it feels important to share that my experience is shaped by being a white queer, non-binary, neurodivergent peep dealing with different chronic pains and mental health struggles. I grew up in a small countryside town in Italy, in a middle-class context.

    I care about creating spaces that are inclusive and accessible, and I believe that I have to continuously keep questioning and learning what that means in practice, especially in the spaces I hold.

    During each session, you can expect:

    ~ Closed captions.

    ~ Scheduled breaks.

    ~ A mix of solo reflection and interaction in small groups.

    ~ Visual materials for more in-depth information.

    ~ Suggested grounding activities at the beginning and end of each session.

    ~ A plan of the session can be shared in advance for those who would find this helpful!

    ~ At the beginning of the course there will be community guidelines that we will collectively agree on.

HEY, I’M AJ!

I’m a queer certified life coach and tarot reader from Italy, with over a decade of experience in campaigning and facilitation in the social change sector. I regularly host tarot workshops online and around London to support folks to develop their intuitive practices while learning more about tarot and themselves - these spaces give me so much joy!

I deeply care about changing and disrupting the patterns of burnout that still exist and permeate our day to day with intuitive strategies that help personal, collective and systemic change happen.
